Out the Cradle, In the World ft. Clee

Out the Cradle, In the World
    By: Konquerer and Clee

    How is hate..
    an outcome of love?
    Abandonment; at the
    root of misused emotions
    True definition
    remains undiscovered.
    like a childhood memory
    that hides under;
    the covers in a thunderstorm.

    Flashlights that shine,
    exposing what vanished
    in the night.
    Midnight milk run,
    don't cry over spilled...

    But life keeps moving;
    after a tragedy..
    Hearts keep beating,
    cherishing the clock
    and both hands
    caressing the time,
    they've been given.

    A time for love,
    a time for hate,
    a time for peace,
I swear it's not too late
    history lessons-
    tales of war,
    spruced by violence
    in a crimson highlight,
    leading our youth
    down the same path
    teaching the future
    to fear the past.

    a struggle to keep
    up from the start
    to finish the fight,
    told to speak
    with a loud bark
    for even babies bite.

    we stand-
    open-armed to
    a closed society,
    where an old dog
    with older tricks
    can lay down and die
    …quietly.

the theory of cause and effect is flawed,
we expect the outcome to mirror the struggle, that's wrong.

Well done lads, this was a subtle read. From what i got out of it, I'd say about love and hate and how the cycle never dies even from a tender age. You guys combined well in this read i can't even tell which one of you wrote what.
    But life keeps moving;
    after a tragedy..
    Hearts keep beating,
    cherishing the clock
    and both hands
    caressing the time,
    they've been given.
I really enjoyed those line because to me, they made a lot of sense. We all rise and fall but time never waits for us. We should be striving for the best out of every situation that we find our selves in. I also liked the personification of the hands of time.

This was a good read, I don't have much negative criticism except that maybe when writing about something as sensitive as love, you should try to exploit as much emotion as you possibly can. Just a thought.

This was a pretty nice job, your styles are very similar and mesh well together. Anyway, I liked this. There was some clever lines thrown in there that are worth mentioning such as the 'thunderstorm' line, the 'cherishing the clock' and the 'loud bark for even babies bite' lines. Thought those were the best of the bunch. I do agree with Scientific however, the technical aspect was good. However emotion was there but in parts lacking. Also, I don't really think the picture ties into the topic 'that' well, I mean I know what your getting at but I just don't think it was needed. Anyway stay up guys. Nice job.

Why'd they riot in the UK just to take some stuff?
While the houses of parliament still remained untouched.
