Man I'm going to need the Ravens to Get some Young WR's although I'll take getting the TE's we got for now.

Whitehurst has never played a regular season NFL game.
BUT, I did watch him a few times LIVE and although some were not strikes (some due to the recievers) Whitehurst has a very strong arm, I'd get scolded if this were a Chargers forum but he is stronger than Rivers and Volek.
His accuracy will come with practice, behind Rivers and Volek he got next to ZERO playing time.
He's also pretty tall, he has the ideal size for a QB, I think he's 6'5 and very lean.

I watched Jahvid Best for a long time, I see him like a younger Sproles.
Suh looks like a beast, I'll agree with you on that one.
But Best? Call me biased but.. Ryan Mathews for rookie of the year..

I would throw my team in the prediction (obvious who) but without Vincent Jackson and especially Marcus McNeil I dont see that happening.
Im not being a sore fan but at the same time I am, McNeil needs a contract done ASAP to protect Rivers and Jackson needs to back off numbers like Brandon Marshal if he wants anything to get done in San Diego.
Merriman humbled up and showed to training camp, garanteed double digit sacks and said he has'nt felt better since 2007, Gates signed a huge contract yesterday and unless BUSTer Davis or Josh Reed really start doing things I dont see Rivers getting last years numbers with just Gates, Floyd and Sproles.
I think the Cowboys, Vikings, Saints, Jets and Cincy get the spotlight this year.
Suprise Teams : 49ers, Ravens and Detroit

Does'nt mean that they will beat Payton though.
Revis is the shit, but pissed off over his contract.
Cromartie is a skilled... talented.. lazy muthafucka.
He's got baby momma drama TIMES seven.
Plus he's locker-room trouble, lol heres some shit i seen a few weeks ago that got me rolling.

The Ravens are being predicted to win the AFC by some and by most to at least be there how will they be a surprise team?
Anyway unless Bryant is healthy I don't see the Bengals doing more that 8 wins. Chad has not been what he used to be and trust me Owens is not anywhere near what he used to be. I honestly thought they had a better WR core when Bryant was healthy without Owens
IMO Chad, Bryant, Caldwelll>Chad, Owens, Caldwell

^Didnt know the Ravens were projected like that, havent watched any TV lately..
But damn, guess my guess was right, I know they have a good team.. I think the Colts are the only team they might have contention with, Baltimore's defense I believe would tear the Jets a new one.
Owens might not be what he used to be, but he still draws double coverage.
Ocho automically draws double so opposing teams will definitely have some hard working safeties to cover them; I simply see miss-matches for their recievers, Palmer will find somebody open with that roster.

Cincy has changed their make up, they will be pass first and Chad, Owens, Bryant & Gresham. Their D will be on the field more and it may not look like the same team.

Go Bears! But, in reality, the bears didn't help themselves at their greatest weakness, offense. What's the point in having a franchise QB if you don't put him in a position to succeed. You have a O-Line who couldn't guard a bank with machine guns and you have WR's who couldn't catch a cold. Defense is really going to have to step up this year for us to succeed. Prove me wrong Bears.

T.O. is a far cry from 05 T.O. Hell, this T.O. is a far cry from 07 T.O.
Palmer is a far cry from 06 Palmer. Hell, this Palmer is a far cry from 07 Palmer.
Hall and Joseph are the best CB tandem in football. . . . but Hall and Joseph aren't accustomed to big strong WR's that they can't stick, such as Boldin. The addition of Boldin to an already superior team outweighs the addition of Bryant, a washed up T.O. and a washed up Pacman. Cincy is going to finish closer to Pittsburgh for 3rd than they are with Baltimore for 1st.
@ New England
Baltimore
@ Carolina
@ Cleveland
Tampa Bay
@ Atlanta
Miami

@Indy

@NYJ
New Orleans
@ Pittsburgh

@ San Diego

. . . .
any one still high on them? They'll finish 3-5 in the 2nd half, 4-4 if they're lucky. This is at best a 10-6 team. One and done.
