I don't see the big deal, I think Fisher is okay but it's not like his record and accomplishments make him an icon. Only his stay makes him an icon. He's 142-120 , not really a bad record but not that great. He has a losing playoff record. Change won't be a bad thing, I mean another coach could lead them to not winning a superbowl every year.

Anyways, yeah. . you're right. People see his tenure and think that it's a big loss. Dude hasn't been to a Super Bowl in 11 years. Then again, he's also had the misfortune of playing in the AFC Central in the late 90's when Pitt was knocking on the door every year, then Baltimore built that D and won a ring, then he moved to the AFC South and had to play Peyton twice a year since 02. Thats not going to happen. Not a chance, especially with Mark Sanchez as your QB. Your Defense is very good which makes Sanchez look better than he is actually is. The Jets got lucky last year in the Playoffs, against the Colts the Colts starters were all injured, against the Patriots, Welker didn't play the first drive which swung the momentum towards the Jets. And you got beat bad by the Steelers.
