Well, I will admit as gay is it is to sneak someone like that, knowing he won't fight back or not, is a bitch move.... admittedly tho I laughed at the initial.... lemme stop lying, the initial and every replay of the slap.
One of my assumptions of the reason the kid that got smacked was wobbly and not very likely to respond, as a combatant trainer, and also being in 5 combat deployments, the smack he received was the whole side of his face.. to include his ear.. if you can get a good pop or hit directly to someones ear like that it can distort their entire equilibrium ... he probably was so dazed and disoriented even if he wanted to fight back, if he threw a punch it would catch air.
