I just say USB mic because I don't know what a damn mixer is, let alone know how to work one. Just seems a whole lot easier to get USB. and seems everyone here has it anyways.. so. g track it is.

Never tried out the g track. But I`m usin` a samson co1u right now and the quality is good enough for the time bein`. so if they`re sayin` the g track is better then i`d say go with that.

you don't even need a mixer for a condenser mic, you could just power it through a pre-amp/interface and then to your pc

the big thing I like about the G-Track is that it has direct no-latency monitoring built right in, and it has it's own virtual control panel so you can adjust the settings for it quickly and easily...

thats also what i like.
