    Agoraphobia: The Haiku

    ag·o·ra·pho·bi·a (gr--fb-) KEY
    NOUN:
An abnormal fear of open or public places.

    agoraphobic;
    ageless in my silver tomb
    rest in peace or prose

    cold-turkey kings of
    retiring from this life
    existential clowns

    off-brand contraband
    sold to unsuspecting teens
    the de facto crash dummies

    this continuum
    has folded in on itself
    blame the avant-gardes

    Dadaists are strange
    but then again, people are
    it a proven fact

    dipped in platinum paint
    bright metallic alien
    wants to rape your mind

    saint clutches his cross
    apocalypse in the works
    makes anarchists smile

    assassinate the
    big blue helium x-ray
    before it explodes

    dream shatterer is
    sipping vodka with Zeus
    atop my cold grave

    creationism
is not some vile, urbane myth
    its insanely real

    Plath-inspired ode
    crash lands into skyscrapers
    masterpiece called: Death

    kamakaze flight
    was a stellar suicide
    break the crown of fear

    My philosophy
born of bullshit and fool's gold
    kills its disciples

    neo-nazi troops
    failed to murder Blacula
    they bombed the Projects

    I'm not your Venus
    I am not your firefly
    I'm not a good poet

I've never ever read someone take on a haiku in this form. it was dope..i like this new style. the philosophy take on it is a different one but it puts so much more thought and depth into a piece.

    Plath-inspired ode
    crash lands into skyscrapers
    masterpiece called: Death

    sylvia plath. nice inspiration.

    off-brand contraband
    sold to unsuspecting teens
    the de facto crash dummies

another favorite one, i feel like every one has atleast 2 meanings to it and thats hard as fuck to do. most people are only able to be 1 SOLID obvious meaning into something but you can do 2 sometimes. this is one of my favorites

the theory of cause and effect is flawed,
we expect the outcome to mirror the struggle, that's wrong.

I dont wanna go counting syllables on you coz I assume all stanza are little haikus.
This was really creative man. I liked how you were able to talk about largely the same thing all through, within the walls of having to stick to the structure u intended.
    This was my favorite;
    My philosophy
born of bullshit and fool's gold
    kills its disciples
Most of the haikus weren't solid enough but I guess that wasn't your intention, you were keen on the overall feeling of all the haikus combined
    ?
