you know them eidolons, you first fight one when your controlling snow, she casts doom n whatever, well now am at a part with lightning, exact same thing, but now i dont have neone to keep curing me, besides hope, hope is shit, i have no hope with this weak fucker!

how do i defeat him, he casts doom like the other one but then batters me with thundara and augmented attacks, now hope cant cure me quick enough, i'm seriously dead within 30 seconds lmao, i;ve tried every single paradigm, nothing works for me
i do libra, try rav/rav/ com/rav/ rav/med etc etc, i'm even using spark ring to try n resist the lightning attacks but its making hardly no difference, i;ve upgraded weapons and done as much as i can on the crystarium

help me lol

edit: yay i did it, i had to use haste n shrouds n shit before the start but i did it! lol

also you know when you fight these eidolons, this target time is ridiculous, like 24 minutes, there's no way you'd stay alive for 24 minutes against one, that one just took me 2 minutes 26 seconds.....strange

lol, thats why I kept saying in the other thread, save your shrouds save your shrouds. Theres two ways you can figure out how to beat one of the summons.

well three I guess..

First. you can just randomly attack until something works. thats always fun

Second, Its usually something to do with what your character specializes in. not always, but its usually a good bet. For Fang, I used a lot of SAB and it it blew it away rediculously fast.

Third, if your really stuck, and you've past where everyone else is at, you can always look it up at an online FAQ.

I use the second one down from the top for when im really stuck. And I mean really stuck. Like ive maxed out the crystarium, and Ive been stuck on the part for a day or so lol which has been more than I'd like recently. but I just got to Gran Pulse. Im psyched to see how it "opens up".

i'm pissed and want to start over... lol... i'm on chapter 9 and just realized that the animal components add to the multiplier for upgrades then you use the other shit to get a lot of points... smh... my shit could be so much stronger lol

yeah i've slowed down alot i just got to the place between cocoon and pulse and all that jibba jabba. just been wild busy and it upsets me because i was going at a ridiculous pace.

yeah same here. I had to work, and couldnt get past the Ark for the longest time. took me like 3 days to move on from that chapter. smfh. got two whole days off tho haha im stoked

I failed @ that too, and now as a result, only Lightning has a weapon thats been upgraded more than once. (Her weapon fucking rapes however lol)

Which weapons do you have? I'm using the gladius w/ her and mostly whatever the 1st weapon I found was lol. I put so much into them, I didn't want to switch them out and start over

I think she has gladius level 8 or something, and then I have the Axis Blade level 19 thats almost strong enough to be worth switching in. Everyone else has like the second weapon I ever found for them, and its only level'd up one level. and also, once you get to pulse, your crystarium starts giving like magic +20, strength +20, HP +120, so weapons wont seem so intense as long as you fight a lot of battles. lol

The axis blade sllightly recharges your ATB guage apon attacking any target.
