the naked truth wore clothes
forever-hidden, forever smitten
this is a hard way to earn a living
buried in scar-prone skin
they built the cell with,
thinner bars and thicker bodies
we broke the monotony with bats
hard hats and brass knuckles
laugh, chuckle and be a man
but I need a plan that works

I'm unintended and unforgiven
a thin line between living and existing
maybe now I'm just existing
burned in an aftermath of flames

the sinners bared their souls
with holes in their confession boxes
I guess I'm not your equal anymore
a heavy downpour, the sounds roar
the encore and the outcore, its amazing
this trail we're blazing, the taken
the given and the quickly abolished
why is it you want to see my dreams

Its the magic of every moment
exposing its beauty until I loathe it
open to the experience of growth

it wasn't a covert operation
no litigation or fishy business
artists color in the lines we live in
while in reality....
the reality of surburbia, nauseates
they start building the cells with,
thinner bars and thicker bodies
on account of me
the free-thinker that thinks
for an astronomical fee
in tune with the psychics
in tune with the extraterrestrials
in tune with the cameramen
lights camera action and Miranda rights
we've felt shocks from neon explosions
on these bright neon nights

This was really quite good... I've never read a piece from you before and i'm not very active on the poetry scene nowadays.

Your wording was really fluent and I'm not sure if it was intentional but in places there was a very relaxed ryhme scheme that made the piece easy and accessible.

The concept in itself was a really nice idea and you executed it well.

The only thing I didn't like was the repetition. Sometimes, it works. But I thought it may have been a little overdone here. Not sure... Hmmmm... lol

Apart from that very picky criticism ^
