does any1 have any tips for recording? Do I need to sing in tune with the beat or could i just do it over the beat? I'm not a very good singer. I sing with a monotone and when i put emphasis on words its quite high pitched and "no fire comes with it" as to say. any ideas on how to improve this?
only practice man....no such thing as a pointer to help u sing...u could spend a lot of time mimmicking the singin from songs similar to the style your looking to use....that could help out...just all day long sing to yourself or along to a song....other than that man jut practice...

^^^thats got nothin o do with him learning how to sing....he basically said "i suck at singing, how do i sing?" ....u cant youtube how to sing....all u can do is try....a vocal warmup, isnt going to give u a talent...
