I don't really like either trade. . . I think the dude giving up A-Rod and the dude giving up Kemp aren't taking into account replacement value. I like the A-Rod trade more, though. . . but I think some people need to take into account that just because they are getting quantity doesn't necessarily mean it's worth it. Especially with some of these "and one" trades you see offered where someone offers a 2 and a 4 for a 1. You can't just get 1's guys. . . you can get 4's on the wire still.
I'll abstain from voting, though.

Yea Zobrists may be somewhat hot, but he's not a perennial threat like A-rod is. I'd still be hesitant to sell the farm for him. There's plenty more dudes that would be a more reasonable swap for A-rod.
I don't know about the Kemp deal either. I think if you take out Headley or Nunez and just go Dunn/Lopez/Perez/Hughes for Kemp/Headly or Kemp/Nunez it'd be different. I don't know why you'd want to take all that junk for Kemp. He's beasting and should continue to this year. Perez and Hughes are nothing special. Dunn gets you HR and RBI but low AVG and Lopez should pretty much be on waivers because theres some available that are better than him right now.
Why does the trend continue of giving up like 3-5 junk or mediocre players for a top 10 overall continue? I thought we established that the majority of those trades are bogus...?
