what the fuck man??? i havent went in the battle section and checked nothin out for quite a few years....but i just went in there tonight...sometimes i just randomly listen to peoples songs online....and on the whole fuckin first page, i found 3 whole tracks, that werent completely, or close to completely weak as shit....
and for the most part, the people who were nice, were gettin hated on by a crowd of people who couldnt rap a present....
wierd....there was always some nice battles here...shit i would download and listen to drivin n shit...guess those days are over....
this next generation of of kids makin music need to get that lil wayne and soulja boy the fuck out theyre ears or something....wow...is it like this at every website??

There's lot of nasty crunk/swag/"original" stuff around, which is really gross that seems to ruin the newcomers rap music.. But as for battles.. ABL still is decent.

Btw... The battles suck for the reason that you already gave. Good emcees would rather make real songs.

see there was always people who liked to make tracks, and people who liked to battle...seems the srious battlers have dissapeared or moved on...i guess it was just a fad that came and went...
i love listenin to battles...they crack me up....
ima check out abl though...never heard of it before...i just wanna listen to some people make fun of each other feel me...

It's definitely a dying fad online. The serious battlers do it live for money. The best one I've heard in a long time on here is Kannon. He has his grindtime battles posted.

But the good battlers that you probably remember grew out of it.
