Mic
Mixer
Headphones
Etc.

Im looking for the best quality for a reasonable price.
and if anyone knows of any bundles where i can get it all for one good price.

I would love to see some pics, of shit that you know of or some shit you rock so i can have some ideas...

I would also like some mixing program ideas.
im fucking with Mixcraft right now, but i know theirs better shit out their.

again software matters on what you wanna do with it. You can still get a decent sound out of cool edit, and is still used. Cubase, nuendo, i mean pro tools if your tryin to go that route but ughh yea. dude you can record for 50 bucks or 5,000 lol. its a wide area you covered.

I'll tell you what I tell everyone who asks, go get a cheap condenser, cep or adobe *cuz they are free and easy to get on the web, and user friendly* get a decent sound, if you like what you hear start thinking about it from the ground up, you will replace it all eventually anyway.

and i would say.. for 150 dollars for a mic u can get the USB AT2020.... or just grab the XLR 2020 .. for 100 and put the rest towards a decent mixer.

Your going to need like 300 just to get your self something decent man.
Im not really familiar with mixcraft can you use VST's or RTAS in there? If not go get protools or adobe audition or Sonar is what i use to use and that was always good.
If your looking for cheapest set up. Get your self a M-Audio Mobile Pre for like 99 bucks then drop 150-200 on a mic. The mobile pre's have pre amps in um if im correct. Dont forget tho. Pop screen, Studio cords (There are bad ones). Headphones to mix on if you dont have Monitors.like dude said up top your atleast paying 500 at the minimum, its a investment tho...
