Help with Vegas!!!

Have any of you ever been there? Me and my girl are planning on going sometime around the second week in February after we get back from Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. We want to stay at a hotel that is sleek and trendy, has a great nightlife and lots of young people in the 20 to 30 range. We also would like to stay in a suite, nothing in the thousands dollar a night range, but something still pretty nice. So far I've been looking into the Palms, Mandalay Bay, Encore@the Wynn, The Hard Rock Casino, and Planet Hollywood. Has anyone ever been to either of these? Suggestions, advice, tips, stories, anything would help. Also could anyone suggest a resort to stay in at Punta Cana (a nice room, exciting nightlife, and plenty of activites are our primary concerns).

*And yes, I've already googled this shit to death (tripadvisor, yelp, expedia, yahoo.answers, etc...) but I'm still undecieded.

The Palms.

I've never seen Encore though.. I think it's new. We used to go all the time in college and I'm going for New Years this year... if it's close I'll take a look. The Palms has Moon, ghostbar and Rain... the crowd that stays there is for the most part pretty young, and it's owned by the Maloof's which is typically enough to make it trendy. lol. The only thing that sucks is that it's not on the strip.

Paris is ok, but it's always dead. If you can afford something a little nicer, do it. Treasure Island is dope. The Palms is dope. The Wynn and The Venetian are both dope, but expensive. Caesar's Palace is always fun. Just depends on your price range.

LOL...I hear that! But, sadly, this time around I'm just not going to be able to pull that off. But, hey, I'll probably be in both Ios and Ibiza this summer, soooooooooo...I can wait

Oh, and, thanks for all the helpful tips. It's looking like it's going to be the palms one room suite for me. I just hate I'mma have to take a taxi to get to the strip, but oh well! Oh and a couple of my boys and their chicks are coming as well...so it's going to be a madhouse.
