my eyes open to a false dream i pause and think
try to recall reality but it haunts me
fleeing from my grips it taunts me taking life for granted I yawn deep,
a breath of God's essence he gives me daily as a blessing
from my eyes i wipe the corrosive cold of deception,
sliding off my bed of bliss like a sly harlot i pray a prayer of redemption,
confidently walking across an unstable floor im floored by my reflection
gazing into a mirror of vanity
i see a beast trying to possess the man in me
hear the voice of his past casulties causually damning me
opening the faucet of runnin rivers
as the contaminated waters splash i feel a churning quiver,
my mindstate a flashforward of a thought
my heart is tryin to remember, forgotten it figures.
brushing the teeth of a glutton and spitting out the crimes of a husband
then looking back into the mirror as if it was nothing,
now I'm ready to dress walking to my closet of death
i set out my attire for the day, fresh.
slip on a under shirt of secrets dress shirt of flattery
fastened by buttons of debt,
reinforced by suspenders holding up extortion and threats,
slipping on the pants of false authority tighten by the belt of pride
the tie of life tightens with each surprise,
chokes me until im dead inside
sticking my feet in the socks of solitude my soul melts with time
wearing the shoes of humanity,
i stand as a rock coasting with the violent tide
throw on my jacket of feign security and my hat of strife,
I'm ready to go tackle this life.
opening a door of hope i walk the the path of the uncertain
amongst a host of people walking the opposite direction on purpose
going against the grain is hurting me
passerby onlooker eyes probing me exposing me
but yet never really knowing me
i approach my school see,
the drill sergants leading lines of hopeless fools
right into the murderous mouth of democracy
i joined the ranks a focused tool.
in hope for food we clammer in to a dark dank room
segregated were ushered to our predestined seats,
like a laundry basket of humanity darks seperated from the lights
out going from the less then meek
the music sounds simultaneously we stand whilst spiritually falling,
pledging allegiance to the divided states of america
for all things imprisonment and injustice to all creeds
as we sit sisters and brothers-
gavels are given to the greedy, currency the corrupt,
abortions to the mothers,
rifles are distributed to the peace makers
along with the command of conquering each other
