Opey i was thining about coping this mixer, tell me if its in my best interest please, ASAP! i got it locked down for 100.
also would i need to buy anything else to make this work, do i still need to use my lambda preamp? it comes with pahntom power, so im guessing i would plug the mic into it.

why? lmao the mic pre's probably suck on it. i would save money and buy a better interface or a better pre or a decent pair of monitors

with mixers i've always felt like your paying for faders makes no sense to drop that money unless you just want to touch faders. The only reason i would buy one is to make sure everybody's level are nice and sitting right in the mix and for analog circuitry but then i would have to take the stereo outs of the mixer back into the interface to record what i've done when i could of just clicked on my faders in my daw instead

your lambda is just fine... I don't understand why you're havin' such a mighty struggle with it... if you just want a little better quality, try buyin' a preamp...

but even then I wouldn't bother if I were you... I'd spend more time learnin' the proper way to record, practice your mixin' a lot... and work on creatin' a sound treated space...

i got all my stuff working, like i said sometimes my recording stuff works, sometimes it doesnt, i just have to open/close-re-open/re-close until cubase registers my mics presents.

keeb you use cubase something correct? when i stop recording my track, i play it back, and mute the beat rite, i just want to listen to my vocals, but the beats playing in the background, i mean real quietly but you can still notice its there, you have any comments or suggestions.

it sounds like your headphones are bleedin' out into your mic when you record... either turn down the volume to your headphones when you record, wear a stocking hat over your headphones when you record, or get better headphones that either enclose your ears or go in your ears...

nah, i already turned the volume down, i even tried it with no volume lol, it still comes, could it be because my mic is to close to the speakers? i have my setup in my closet, its about 2 feet wide, and my speakers are on a shelf on each of the one corner, and my mic is probably half a foot or a little less from the speakers, but its definatley not the hd phones.
