Intro
Welcome one welcome all to another issue of the 1-2 punch mag. Unfortunately i didn't have time last week to put anything up but this week will be different and i'll try to give you all something decent to read through and look at. well, i guess we might aswell jump right into it.
The Mighty Has Fallen
That's right after an 8-match win streak and being able to hold down the top spot in the league as long as it's been up Wordz finally suffered his first loss. It was actually in a pretty cool match last week too. But nevertheless even with this loss Wordz looks like a front runner and still looks like one of the main people to beat in the league right now.
Week 9's Top Battles
1. BTK vs. Archetype- Nice matchup, and a really hard one for everyone to decide....votes really went back and forth depending on the preference of which line you liked but in the end arch's line was good enough for him to win by a vote or two.
2. A. Karpis vs. Freeney- Another cool match, didnt expect much from either of these guys but freeney dropped an ok punch and karps was actually somewhat fire....it wasnt the best ive read, but wp was pretty smooth and executed decently...cool match here but karp took this one handily.
3. Brandon Cee vs. D.I.- this was a highly anticipated match, with a couple of guys that can really come out and get you.....but neither did. both dropped pretty average punches and really it coulda gone either way but DI ends up winning this one by KO.
4. WW vs. Mafioso- Decent matrch here. both could have dropped better, but then again both dropped better then what the average has been for the league so far. im gonna have to go by personal preference and say i thought whites was a bit to weak to overpower what maf posted....but still, good job felllas.
5. THERE WILL BE NO #5 THIS WEEK, AS I MENTIONED THE CHAMP MATCH IN IT'S OWN SECTION.
Week 9's WORST Battles
1. Real Insight vs. fagel- yeah this match blew, looks like real is still shaking a bit of his rust, thus making it hard for his punch to completely be felt by me....but on the other hand he was matched up against the worst dude in the league....FAGEL. atleast he didnt dissappoint though, his punch was just as garbage as anybody wouldve guessed that it would be and he sprinkled some shitty wp on top just for us

2. soalz vs. Scientific- yeah garbage match, soalz wp was only somewhat forced...but yo, WTF did sci post? seriously, the only line more ass then his was fagel's. This is the reason why 1-2 needs a entrance system because lines like this are just such ass that it begins to leak into the other battlers.
WELL, I WONT POST ANYMORE WORST BATTLES OF THE WEEK BECAUSE NOONES COULD BE AS BAD AS FAGEL'S AND SCIENTIFICS WERE.
