Your argument's weak. Mayweather didn't KO Hatton because that wasn't his strategy.His strategy was to tire him out and then go to work, which he executed perfectly. Go back and look at that fight and see all those hard punches Hatton took. Floyd could have KO'd him if he went all out but he chose to be on the defensive knowing Hatton would continue to go reckless.

Believe it or not, I actually predicted Pacquiao knocking out Hatton in the first (I was close!). Reason why is because Pacquiao's offense obliterates Hatton's brawling and clinching habits. Considering that, BOTH of their defenses are still quite weak. So basically, Mayweather is better than Hatton and Pacquiao is also better than Hatton, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Pacquiao is better than Mayweather.

meh, i appreciate the footwork, head movement, and overall technicality involved with boxing but the whole concept of 12 rounds of a tit-for-tat chess match is just excruciating to me. especially with the lighter weights.

now I hate mayweather but there is no denying that he is already in the top 10 boxers of all time.He reminds me of ali in ways, with the trash talk and the talent to back it up.He has been great for the sport and has proved himself to be one of the top names in boxing.

Now that he beat Marquez, people think he'll beat pacman and to be honest i just don't see that happening.Yes marquez and pac had a close fight, but pac has seriously moved on since them.His last fight against hatton saw him take it up a notch....the guy is a machine.

I see mayweather beating cotto and he will drive straight through shane mosely.At one stage or another we are going to see him fight pacquiao, and that will be one hell of a fight.But then again you just don't know with mayweather.He is so full of confidence and you can see that in the ring.You saw it against marquez.Mayweather just brings a certain presence with him inside that ring that makes him so hard to beat.

The closest I've seen to mayweather being in trouble was against hatton when he got stunned but other than that i am one of those people who thinks oscar de la hoya beat him.I'm a big fan of de la hoya and I don't think he ever recovered properly after that fight.He looked terrible against manny.

Yes right now mayweather would be in the top 10, we'll just have to see what he does in the future
