I get it, I understand the interview up until he considered himself the best rapper. He's made his name, he's made his impact, and will continue to.. but the fact he says he's the best rapper alive is a bit out there. He may be one of the better rappers.. but the best? Being the best consists of consistency, and in my personal opinion his verses aren't exactly amazing every time he drops one. I respect him, and what he's saying in this interview, but to label himself the best is just a bit too weezyish for me.

because he probably isn't....
it just goes on and on. there's always someone better. but Jays as close as it gets when you combine lyricism AND sales. no REAL lyricists sell like Jay, and no one whose sold like Jay can match his lyrics(aside from em maybe)
