Should Euthanasia be globally legalized?

As far as I understand, because I don't care enough to wikipedia it, euthanasia is basically what you do to pets when they become old, injured etc. It's like putting them out of their misery, except now people are questioning as to whether or not this should be legal for humans. For example, if your grandparent(s) is/are very old and suffering, should it be legal for their family or loved ones to pull the plug, should it be within the wishes of the sick/injured. The controversy arises from whether or not this is murder or not, and this also ties in to physician assisted suicide, which I think is even legal in some places, where terminal patients can ask their doctor to just take them off life support to end their life.

I think it should be legalized. If people honestly wish to end their time on Earth to continue onto heaven or any other sort of afterlife they believe in, they should be allowed to. The people that oppose it are mostly political/moral radicals who are concerned with the legal aspects and all of the prospective red tape.

Yeah it should be legalized, why should you futher someones's pain, to the point where they cant speak to tell you what the fuck they want, or they dont have no control over there bodily functions, whatever it is, disease wise, no cure, probably could be but no ones looking for one, there's not enough money for one etc etc. No you shouldnt just be able to stroll in as a fit n healty dude n be like "kill me". But if ts pretty apparant your life is beyond living, its only gonna get worse as time goes on and you might have to endure this pain for many more years then yeah i think it should be legal, not only is it gonna get worse for the person suffering but the family aswell.

i used to fight pit bulls until this last fight when the other dog literally tore my dogs dick off, never fought another dog after that....point is he was bleedin to death dying slow, i took em outside and hit em with the pump and finished him.

I mean...how do you propose to get every country on earth, every soverign nation...
To abide by one law? Who would enforce this law? Military? Who's military?
If a country chooses not to join in...what court will try them? In what country?

In general...no, I don't think euthanasia should be allowed...I mean...if you're in great pain from disease...on the terminal side...

Then I'm for being put out of misery...an OD of morphine seems to work...and I think most compassionate doctors and nurses do this anyway. From what I've heard, it's a very common, but hush-hush practice.

But it's GOT to be limited to terminal disease and health related pain.

loved that dog but yea, the dog went for his hind leg and my dog was rushing foreward, a slight miscalculation ended up with the other dog LOCKING on my dogs dick and when he started shaking him (like all pits do) he was doing it by the groin...dick came smooth off torn completely out. One of the most horrid sights i've seen in real life in person thus far.

I know that Pits are very much so aggressive in nature, BUT i raised a Pit from pup to adult dog that was the friendliest dog to other people and dogs that i've known. The only thing i had trouble (this was my first dog) was that they have an unusually high prey drive, and she ate (our accidentally killed) a wounded bird once that i was going to nurse back to health as i went to go get a cage from around the house.
