Silva has looked lethargic whenever someone comes close to grazing his jaw. I happened in the two fights before Machida. Hell, the one right before Machida, he was damn near out cold after a tap to the chin. Look in the thread before that Machida fight. I said he had a weak chin then, and Machida proved it. Machida NEVER finishes fights, yet he deaded Silva in one round.

Silva's chin is fine, you have to take in account who was checking his chin, Houston Alexander...and at that time he was very feared as a striker, just KO'd 3 people in a row, and Silva stopped his run very impressively...Machida doesn't finish fights? Have you seen any of his fights? he's finished his last 3 fights including finishing the undefeated champion by vicious KO...This is a good card and the main event is a fight that should of happened a long time ago and is finally hapenning, I've very excited for that fight...Overall this is a good card.

I should have said KO. Silva was Machida's first KO in his 15 MMA fights. Machida wins more by decision than anything.

Now I see that I really shouldn't be argueing with you or trying to enlighten you...Machida KO'd Rich Franklin before he was ever in the UFC...maybe you should do some research before you mock fighters...

Oh, my bad. He KO'd Rich SIX years earlier. The five fights before Silva, Machida won 4 by decisions. Don't try to make it seem like he's some heavy-handed puncher. And he still won the majority of his fights by decision.
