    If it was a contracted lease shorter than 12 months he can kick you out at any minute. if the lease was signed for longer than 12 months he will have to follow the states guidelines. which in most cases it was signed for longer than 12 months because a housing lease under 12 months is illegal in most states.

    It's a recession. I'm sure he needs tenants and doesn't want to just kick them out. He needs money too. This is how he puts bread on the table. He's kicking them out on principle. It's not even about money.
    werd.. when i got my new place I got a little confused as when the rent was due. cus i dont live there in the summer n simply just pay rent. i ended being a month n 2 weeks late when i finally realized. called em let him know of the situation n he let me wait till the followin month to pay everything in full. my dudes nice as hell.
