When Rb broke up years ago(how did it come back)

i've never registered on rv... there was also another feud where an rb.com member went and created rapbattles.net (i think it was madman) a few members from here registered on both and i think things blew over easy... and madman's site died.

rapbattles was the first board i ever joined back in early 2001 and it was owned by subtrek..dude made some dope wu-tang type beats..reminds me of cage..

RV is not the old rapbattle board without the 's'. Rapbattles split into two forums in liike 03-04, and the second forum that was here on RB became RV. I was awol around that time but when I came back the front page was just 2 boxes with links to each forum.

I remember when that all happened, I think I registered on the other site and then never went back. I've been on here since before the big crash and the split. I think that there was another name before it became rapbattles, but I am not completely sure on that, it was quite a while ago.

Either way this site is still one of the longest standing sites that I have been a member of.

RB had another name before it was actually called Rap Battles, i believe..i remember coming here under a diff name then..left the net for a while and then came back and it was rapbattles..headz online saying some shit to me like "yeah thats called rapbattles now"..

i been around this online/rap site shit for way too long..i mean, since like the first boards..they werent even boards back then..those joints were just lists..back before Davey D's and Mr Blunts..when all you could do was text..back when Aloe and Sime were doin' text..before even Mudfoot..lmao..smh..

I think it was an experiment to see if you catered to the newer members and were lest strict, if it would create a more enjoyable environment or something like that.
