How is America the greatest in baseball when we can't even win the WBC? and Japan is bonkers in baseball. You might have an argument with basketball solely based on the fact that we dominate in the Olympics but other than that, lets spread the love internationally. I'd love to see an NBA vs. Euro championship. Or even some games. And I have a feeling that alot of our baseball teams would lose to places in the Dominican and Japan pretty badly. So we're not really the best in either. World Champions is a very arrogant title.

and you have to take into account the fact that before people all over the world started play baseball or basketball, these two sports were created in the us, so yea for lack of there not being leagues in other countries or anywhere else back then, world champions makes sense.

P.S. I hate how they call it "World Champions" for winning an AMERICAN league. What the hell is that shit? As if only America plays basketball? Did the Lakers play any Euro teams? No. Did they even play ANY other country that has a pro basketball league? No. So "World Champions" is a bit presumptuous. That title always pissed me off in American sports (Same with World Series in baseball). And this is why people hate Americans.

Better Rondo? hmmm maybe eventually, i dunno time will tell but seriously Rondo has established himself in the league as a premier guard. Sure im not saying hes better then Deron Williams,Chris Paul, Tony Parker, Steve nash etc etc YET but he is one of the fastest people in the entire league(proven), WAYWAYWAYWAYYYYYYYYYYYY better defensively then those 4. He also has an uncanny habit of getting ALOT of rebounds which is suprising for a 6'1 PG with KG on the Celtics. He always seems to put up triple doubles or shit like 17 9 and 9 ALL the time. Hes also shot over 50% from the field this past season If he can develop his jumpshot a tad more, ray allen is going to have a fucking field day.

Edit: lmao 17,9.8 and 9.7 were his playoffs stats, i seriously didnt look at that shit. Lol that is pretty amazing for a 6'1 point guard...even though i suppose they were only in for two rounds. Even so, I dont think people give him much credit. Hes been in the league two years....Him and Derick Rose..stars for a long time
