Word. That's exactly how I read it, but I think he just wrote the sentence like he had down syndrome. What he really meant was name a verse that's better than every verse em has ever done.

To that argument, I'd say you could say the same thing about dozens of Hip-hop artists. And it's not really about plucking singular verses. I'd say it's more about albums or catalogs.

Its arguable... Pun and Lupe came to mind and I am sure I could come up with a couple more lyricists, but their styles are all so different it feels like apples and oranges when you're actually trying to line them up against one another...

You're just creating an argument that doesn't exist. Eminem doesn't just have one hot verse. He has a whole career full of them. So the best lyricist would at least have to have a verse that's better than Eminem's best verse.
