Growing up living in the south side
beneath the shield of his parents pride
well known surname how could he hide
yet hes feeling more distant inside
had everything he needed except a purpose
chooses to be alone while he searches
all through his thoughts, he listens
decides to make a change he envisions
standing on his own off of his throne
daddies, money’s gone, now hes getting grown
so instead of a free ride through life he leaves
adopts the life of street and turns to a thief
just for a while he thinks, he knows better
so hes doing just fine acoording to his letters
parents must be proud tho they cant reply
last time they talked was his goodbye
