Am I the only one that noticed that for the most part they took the shit WORD FOR WORD from the comic? I knew what they were going to say before they did, which took away from it for me. It was kind of like having someone read me the comic or something.
i want to see the directors cut..even if it is about 4 hours long i wanna know what they cut out

The first Ozmandius (To lazy too look up correct spelling) scene won the movie over in my book. This whole movie is good because of how it mirror's modern times and how we as humans are savages and all we need protection from is our selves. But that first scene, ozmandius(?) is talking about our massive greed and our enormous reliance on things like oil and coal, to the point of which it drives us too war. Throughout this amazing monologue depicting our current times, The world trade centers are standing boldly behind him. This was obviously on purpose, so i would have to say it is the directing that made this movie beautiful. Every shot was so pleasing on the eye. But those world trade centers standing tall in the background ever so accentuated really made that connection to our time, and solidified this great film analyzing Humanity and all of our flaws.

Roger Ebert gave it 4 stars...saw it twice and did two reviews both praising it and int he second one he really analyzes all the philosophy in it and etc...in other words he loved it and hes about the only critic i respect and usaly agree with. alot of people are simply too dumb for this type of story lol it will bore them.

well I was confused for the first hour and then it made sense, but parts of it were like incredibly deep and disturbing. I still can't decide how I feel about it actually because I think I liked it but idk. Dr. Manhattan and Rorshak (sp?) were awesome though
