    I thought I'd attempt something new after reading Varentao's post. This is a "Nonet" which is a poem that consists of 9 lines. The first line contains 9 syllables, the second contains 8... etc

    The poem should look something like this:

    & this is OM, but I'll feed it like a poem.

    I was wishywashy on the nonet type deal. It was very unique, I don't think I've seen it attempted before, I've never even heard of it. I liked your discriptiveness and your discreet imagination for wordchoice. Your pure talent is amazing, but I still can't get past your previous works, so I look for every piece you write to outwrite the last one, I guess that's why this wasn't so 'great' to me. I liked it, but I'm always looking for ridiculous shit from you lol.

    This was more an experimental thing, just to see if I could pull it off. I love trying all the specific forms of poetry, it makes the entire thing more interesting for me at least.

    This was submitted for the Poetry competition Varentao was running. I think I posted it in the wrong forum. = (

    it's the same kind've thing as a haiku... a poem based on syllable count... it's not bad, pretty decent little write up. it's not really new, but I guess it's new to RB... they taught us nonet's and haiku's in school before freelance-go-your-own-route poetry lol...


    not a bad one I guess. goes good with the pic. nice.



    it does belong in PS though, you'd get more recognition for it over that way.

    Nice job, but it was more of a Haiku like everybody says. You afraid to post a Haiku in my forum? lol. It wasn't really a Haiku though which I am pretty damn sure everybody realizes but it is very similiar as far as counting the syllables is concerned. I feel that your wording was pretty nice and the imagery was quite well put. Emotion just dragged on but you can always change that with a more speedy flow. Keep writing.
