Season 10
Intro
I'll start off by introducing myself. The name's Stat, and like many of you, this is my first season in LLL. I've got a lot of respect for this league and many of its contenders. Now judging by the amount of new and unknown names I'm looking at, this is going to be a much different season than the previous ones. We've got a respected reputation of talent and creativity to live up to this time. But I gotta say it's good to see a few familiar names from previous seasons. You know who they are. But about week one, it was interesting none the less. A shocking upset happened in the $pitacular vs Barcotic battle, that was crazy and completely unexpected. Cry dropped some good shit... too bad his opponent no-showed. But most everyone showed up and posted this week, though there were about four people that didn't show out of like thirty people in the league. That's good news. But I just felt like a lota verses this week were mediocre at best. C'mon guys this is LLL! Not only do we have to separate ourselves from FL, but we gotta separate ourselves every other league on the net!

COM vs Bartender
This was close. They both could have dropped WAY better. I mean COM's a previous Season Champ and Bartenders been sparring with the legends for a long time now. Definitely not as a good as I expected.

Brandon Cee vs Meters
This was a good battle. Both dropped a solid verse. This was the first time I ever saw Brandon battle and his shit was nice. Meters drops a good verse consistently, well at least in every battle I've seen him in. Overall, the battle reminded me a bi-sexual bitch, It could've gone either way. But the voters seemed to favor Meters in this one.

Ted Nulb vs Sobe
This was an okay battle. I think it's pretty evident that Sobe won it... but he did feed off Teds verse. Despite Barcotics confused definition of feeding... it's pretty obvious to me. But yeah I liked Teds wad of paper/payless line though. But Sobe dropped an all around better verse.

Burden vs Reflex.
First off, Burd if your Burd. from the RBL, I looked at a couple mags from that league today and I saw one of your verses in the Angelina Jolie edition that was real nice man. You had some dope concepts in that shit... but if your not Burd. from RM, then mah bad, I shouldn't be assuming shit like that anymore. But anyway, this was a good battle. Both posted early and gave this season a jump start in week one. Reflex got mad at me for not getting one of his lines in his verse... so uh, mah bad homie. I'll do some research on personals like that next time. Burden dropped a well written verse and so did Reflex. Reflex gets the win after some vote deductions from Burden not voting. VOTE, its not that hard to do!

$pitacular vs Barcotic
Well, well, well. This battle got all hyped up due to a lot of reasons. The first reason was... $pitacular was in it. And because of his history and the amount of people he's turned into history, his presence automatically gets hype. Second thing was Barcotic. The kid has been destroying wack kids in Front Lines for a long time now. Plus the main show in the chat thread was Bartender vs. Barcotic. Bartender really doesn't like this kid and now neither does COM. But the question before the battle was, can Barcotic hang with the real talent on RB? I guess he answered that question in the opening week of Season 10. The biggest upset I've seen in a long time happened here. Mainly because $pitacular went easy on him. I've seen $pit demolish way better verses then the one Bar posted. But don't get it twisted, Bars verse was good. Good enough to get away with the upset.

R.A.S jr vs SmokaJoka
Smoka shook off some of the rust in this one. Ras didn't do so well this week. This battle wasn't the best but it was interesting. Yeah.

Classic. vs Kenny the G vs Knowledge.
Classic and Kenny No Showed. Knowledge gets the win but he had a lot of playedout lines in his verse. Plus his shit was soo stretched out almost every line went across the screen and down a space. Shorten that shit up man.

Rondizz vs Dios De Hip Hop
Dios kept hitting Ron with nameplays, some of them were nice though. The Moron line was dope. Ron had a like one good line the others weren't so great. Dizz needs to step it up, it seems like Dios knows what he's doing.

Almighty vs Eth'Real
Almighty doesnt belong in LLL. Eth, I hope the rust is gone.

Cry vs Qualm
Qualm was gay and didn't show. On the other hand Cry came with a dope verse. Shit was well written, pretty much everything was on point. Good shit cuzzo, i didn't expect that.

Kontext. vs J.Luth
J.Luth did real well. That soap line was raw, a couple stood out too but yeah... Kontext was alright, just really played.

Nick Nice vs Nick Fletcher
There was controversy in this battle with Fletcher recycling some lines that he used before that some fag named Random bit from him. But because Fletchers opponent hadn't posted yet he was able to edit them out and avoid a DQ. Nick Nices verse seemed play off a lot of the shit that happened here. I don't know if its considered feeding but he took advantage of fletcher's whole recycling/biting/battling himself thing. But fletcher had a solid enough verse to get the win. Decent battle here.

This was probably the weakest battle this week. I donno who won.

I'm going with COM. I just think he's much better than Barcotic. And he's got a lot of ammo this week. Expect him to open up the arsenal and go all out this time. It's gonna be a 30 line battle so this will test Bars longevity against one of the greats. But don't be surprised if Barcotic manages to pull off another upset. He's done it before.
Eth'Real (1-0) vs Smokajoka (1-0)
This will be interesting. Both of these guys shook off the rust last week against much weaker opponents. But this time they should be ready drop some much better verses. This could really go either way.

This will be interesting. Cry probably posted his best verse ever last week. He's gonna have to top that this week to beat Meters. I don't know if he will so I'm going with Meters because I know he's consistant every time he drops a verse.

Aight thats it. Stats Mag. Hope you enjoyed the shit. I tried to incorporate the things I like in mags across the net... I was gonna try and do interview with Barcotic since he managed to pull off a huge upset this week. But I really don't have the fucking time right now. I guess this was a good opening week. Most everyone showed, no battles lacked any votes, we all got entertained by Bartender and Barcotic in the chat thread, though Barcotic was seriously getting annoying after awhile... it was still entertaining.
If you don't like the Mag... go into the bathroom, open the cabinet and eat the pills... ALL OF THEM.
