What is reality? Perceptions seen through the eyes of the beholder
Concepts shunned, and my vision blurred cause I'm getting older
You ask why? When the question you should ask is why not
Possibility is endless in this age, I say that you're caught
In the cycle of belief that is universally accepted
I say that I'm a deist, and universities rejected
Applications of my belief, saying my ideas are heretical
Affirmations of my deceit, but my theories are alphabetical
Yet who needs organization with these global religions
Who knew that these unification's would soon cause rifts and divisions

What is time? What is space? Do we belong in this place?
What is the meaning of life? Please God answer me with haste...

So many questions... our purpose is open to interpretation
Yet my opinion is mute with this Armageddon were facing
But lets pretend for a second that our existence is eternal
Corruption runs deep, now God's assistance is infernal
Biological weapons will do massive damage do the populous
And homeless kids in Africa will continue to be impoverished
Empowerment is given for the least deserving accomplishments
I promise this; my breath wont be wasted on simple thought processes
My rhymes make cents... but I use wisdom as currency
Since Father Time is my grandson, I'm making millions currently

Obscurity surrounds my mind like cloudy skies in the night
Each sunrise brings some clarity, but not enough for clear sight
A waterfall splashes new life into the eyes of the wandering
Though questions will still go unanswered, left for pondering
If curiosity killed the cat, I've used more than my nine lives
For I've crept down Hell's staircase far more than nine times
Seen the flaming Phoenix, descended the old inferno stairs
Been through chamber of death, resisted the cold serpents glare
Still I find no answers to my life's questions, left in despair
Ask Jesus himself for repentance, but even he cannot repair
Sell your soul to the Devil, and he can't make sense of this?
I guess its time for us to give up and start our Exodus
