A Cup of Misery, A Sip of Sorrow.

I was fortunate
.

.
enough to make..
..love to you until dawn.
During the midst of mourning,
as f grieved over midnight lust.
For each cup of misery allows..
..me to sip sorrow, while pouring,
my heart into swallowing gulps.

Swelling the glands on a...
..broken vessel, forever destined..
..to sail alone in remembrance.
Throbing while buyers place bids,
on shattered pieces..
..coarsing in vein and regret.

For the wind blows memories..
..memories of times we chilled,
until we reached a freezing point.
Exceeding my life as a pond,
for as cold as it might seem..
..sacrafices are neccessary,
from within the chest.

She keeps me warm,
Filled with butterflies afloat
My abdomen of love…
…leaving no room for errors.
No place to rest for a second wind,
No breathers just accelerations..
..of fast paced emotions,
Plastered on the wall-
The art show of us,
Was engraved passionately…
…on my heart.
I lacerate execrations,
Painted vigorously over…
…the space missing in my head.
-Lust I tell you Lust
I move swiftly in the shadows,
Of her wanting me more…
…I wickedly tap my feet;
To a hidden beat…
…residing behind my chest.
-that sleeps

For the time being,
I do my best to stay apart;
Of your mind but your thoughts,
Leave me stunned…
…cause I just don’t know were

A Cup of misery for the past,
A cup of sorrow for tomorrow.
But for today…
…I sip slow on pain;
Wanting nothing more than you
-so I wait in vein

Moves strategically placed..
..to protect the king's treasure;
Although the queen alone has..
..the power to move and control,
the bored with excitement.

See..
..as I sit in silence,
with my cup of misery,
sipping sorrow.
A dull taste upon my tongue,
as if the buds turned..
..a pale white with color.
I have realized..
..realized I have not changed.
The filter placed to extract..
..has nothing more then to remember.

Hence my thirst for her company.

Alright, the one tiny, unimportant thing that bugged me to the very LEAST. Is the way you formatted it. To fit the structure, how you had two or three periods starting the line off. . . it wasn't needed at all mate. Lol. This isn't 2006, nobody formats like that or cares about structure anymore. But, in other news... dope poem! An interesting site from the brilliant audio mind and former topical genious of Xtreme Malice. The concept was something nearly everybody could relate to. Though it's been done, if you can do it with good content then there is no problem! And your writing was well done which led to no flaw in the concept. Wording was pretty good (minus the annoying ant-like dots that were oddly placed before every other line) and everything flowed well. Your imagery was very well detailed and you had your descriptions set nicely. Emotion was dead on.. over all a real good poem. Surprised me, Nom'd.

Thanx for the nom its been a while since i wrote a poem hell when i wrote a poem dots and periods were hip lol but i'll keep that in mind and this is actually referring to the love of my wife and possible divorce *shrugs* shit happens

not much into poetry as u aparently are! coulda used more rhythmic flow. but still cool. stay up

Poetry is more emotion then rhyming the scheme is all in what you feel not what words have the same syllable preference and sounds...

...but Ebolo thinks on the feed Ima take some time to get brushed up on my poems and then once im comfortable i'll join a league or two
