The closer that i get to getting home
The longer the days take I wish I never know
Almost there the time ticks by
But I got to leave again I don’t know why.
Maybe cause its my job, cause the life I chose
I could be like my boys chasing hoes
but im out making a life for myself
I don’t want to be a bottle bottled on the self
Not get out and don’t go no where.
To get out and see something in the hood that’s rare
But in 2 days time. Ill be at the door
Wont be sitting the waiting any more.
Feels like a little kid waiting the night before going somewhere new.
Cant eat, cant sleep I don’t know what to do.
But I know that when I get there the time is going to go to fast
And the moment that I get just wont last.
Till I feel like this all over and have to do it again
It just don’t look like im going to get to win
Till I get to say home all the time in the year 2010
But Im counting down the days and watching them tick past
I know deep down somewhere it is not going to last

Yo I agree wit phenomik, i think the fact that ur rhyme stayed mostly using couplets made it sound kinda choppy plus u got a lot of mispellings might wanna check that out but all in all i thought it was a pretty dope drop. keep postin.
