Take away the fill, keep it white on black drop. In fact, it'd also work well black on white drop.
Thicken all the lines up slightly, about three times what it is so double outline it and then once more. When it's painted the lines won't be that fine so it'll help you work out exactly how your letters are supposed to look at the end.
Fill small space as well, most of the counters between each image will be full black for the drop. Simple letters need simple technique, don't waste time and effort trying to show background in your gaps because it turns it into a piece that looks like a throwup.
