you mix needs some work. I don't like the snare or kicks you used. Where is your bassline? You're right you main melody is decent though. That acoustic guitar doesn't sound like one there are free VST's that sound better sounding acoustic guitars than the one you used. Give this thing a good bassline, find a better guitar this would be a solid beat.

This was not a bad beat at all keep at it mang!

compressing, Paragraphic/parametric eq, Volume levels, reverb ETC. Basically making sure your track sounds right. For example the clap you used needs a slight mid and or low boost (IMO) this can be done in FL studio with a parametric eq by adjusting the mid and or lows by turning it's frequency up. Use layering to as well it gives unique sounds if used right.

I know this may sound a little awkward but listen to a few classical songs and notice how they layer there instruments. I can't really explain to you how to mix your tracks because everyone does it different and only YOU know what type of sounds you want on your track. For example kris cain like his tracks to have a wet analogish sound to them. I mostly use natural sounding instruments and like have my mid's and highs turned up on a warm mix. It's all on what sound you're trying to create.

Laying down the track is just part one of beat making mixing is a different beast

Omg your that freaking snare that goes left to right and hi hat is killing my ears! Too much on the hi end. Still need some work on your mix. You definately improved though. Good job. You did pick better sounds, some of those sounds can still be better picked. Get your hands on some good vsti's. Add some bass! Keep at it man.

Hey I think this is pretty slick. I can tell you definitely used one of the chorus sounds. I'm definitely diggin the way you panned the snare, I like the shit that works its way around the speakers. The melody is pretty slick, this honestly sounds like it should have SPM (South Park Mexican) rappin over it. You definitely should turn the hats down a little, maybe even think about switchin em up for the actual verse part of the beat

Personally, I loved this beat man. It would go real well with most of the concepts and rhymeschemes I use. The snare is pretty dope actually, and I love the synch. Overall, your best beat thus far Exact. Keep them coming bro. Dope shit.
