there is a little red R, over on the left, that you click on... when it's "armed" it will look like a red light is on...

yea i do. But i dunno how to get my mic to record. The arm button wont work. Is it cuz of my audio technica 2020?? Its a USB but a good mic.
The AT2020 comes in USB too?

you got robbed... they go $150 new...
anyway... your mic shouldn't have anything to do with the problem... in multitrack view, on the left side of the screen are the control boxes for each track... below the track name are two boxes, one with a right arrow next to it and one with a left arrow... on the one with the right arrow, click and select mic 1 mono... that should select the correct input... just above that are 3 buttons, M S and R... click the R so it is glowing red... you should now be ready to record...
if not, you may need to go up to the top where it says: File Edit Clip View, etc... click edit, go down to Audio Hardware Setup and make sure Adobe is using your mic for input one...
then when it's time to record, you just click the red dot button down at the bottom where the play controls are...

word, yea i fig'd that out bro. Thanx. I just downloaded Adobe 3 so i'm usin that now 'less i can get myself to sound good quality wise on 1.5.
if you got 3, don't fuck with 1.5... there's no point... 3 has all the same features, plus a lot more, and is the same to use...
but, as long as you got it to record... problem solved right???
