Fuck a Bill O'Reilly. I doubt Nas cares how many records he sells.

Which is wrong. But the thing is, these rappers ARENT making masterpieces ukno, what they are making is more comparable to a cheap porno flick, with some nice acting from time to time.

These rap dudes need to realize they cant have their cake and eat it too. If you want to go crazy about how much street cred you have, and how many drugs youve delt, and how much of a thug you are, okay, but dont get salty when a 50 year old white republican starts trashing your name
so does scorese caught alot of damn flack from o'reilly for departed????

naw of course not. and what those who actually sold drugs they not alot to rap about they life or the things they've seen???? alot people think it's on some "they white we black they hate black people shit" but truly it's the older generation refusing to change with the times, hence when rock first came on the scene, hell remember that flick about kiss and when the mom said they were "knights in satan's service" they were actually groups like that but kiss is legendary.

hip hop doesn't need loudmouth old white republicans who could never understand the game as is. btw if bill is really 77 years old or whatever pretty sure he was raised in a racist unbringing.

he's bred to be narrow minded.

the thing is O'Reilly doesnt and never will understand hip hop. He doesn't understand because he cant relate to it. He wont understand why its so prominent. He doesnt get the fact that times will always change and that there will be trends that his generation wont get, and in the future newer trends that we wont get.

O'Reilly has alot of power on his show and can control virtually anything put on. When he gets called out on his bullshit by a rapper he will go out of his way to show his audience how ignorant his opponent is, or how hypocritical his opponent is by showing past songs that may not have been in the best taste. Its politics. Most people who watch him anyway probably arent hip hop fans so hes feeding into his audience.

the same ignorance that O'Reilly is preaching against.. is the ignorance he's using to preach it. So I stopped taking him and his fan base seriously a while ago.

If yall are posting videos of Bill O'Reilly swearing, why cant he post lyrics that Nas has made? You cant just let the pendelum swing to one side, you have to be fair and honest.

Word is fucking BOND! An not just white republicans, or white people, but all grown civilized people in general. If I showed my uncle from puerto rico who knows nothing about rap, a Young Jeezy song about cocaine, he'd think Young Jeezy was a cocaine dealer who kills people. He has no fucking idea its all a gimmic because hes not into hip hop. So if youre going to walk around and make lyrics about how many bricks you sell, how many times you slap a bitch, how many niggas youve shot, an how you dont care that youv'e done all that shit, than dont try to become some righteous anti-hood shit when you get a little older, because no one will take you serious, period. Ask Tookie.. Remember hip hop is not a movie, its not supposed to be actors who make songs, its supposed to be real life people spitting about their lives and struggles an other things, sure plenty is exaggerated, but for hip hop to be "real" you gotta take what rappers say kind of to the heart, am I right?

anyway if i could find said vids i wouldn't post them, cuz what grown person has never cursed before????

it's called emotions everybody has them and everybody gets upset, he makes it sound like nas and rappers like him are cursing for no reason. i don't curse much in my music but when i do it's to express a strong emotion that's felt. pretty sure it's the same for alot cats. not all, but alot cats.

Theirs a difference between cursing out of anger, and making countless songs about violence and drugs. Wtf? How do you not understand that? How can people really even defend rappers on a personal level, maybe on a fan level, but if half the shit they say they've done is true, they're all low life criminals who you wouldn't blink your eye at if they got shot in the streets. Remember yeah now they wear gucci, but if they are who they say they are, they're the same niggas polluting the streets, an the same niggas who will beat your ass when you walk to the corner store at 3 am.

okay countless songs about violence and drugs, you're a cormega fan rican.

music reflects life, and life experinces, coming from the ghetto how many cats have you seen get smashed, how many fiends have you seen doin the "dirty needle bop"??? if anything they just tellin how it is, and if o'reilly don't want that instead of tryin to kill an outlet for frustration and anger to be released, then he should attacking our government, make them jump off they asses and do something.

I feel you, you make a strong point. But hip hop glorifys the shit out of drugs and violence man, an thats truth. Cormega USED to glorify the fuck out of being a pretty big cocaine pusher out of the projects. I like his shit cause hes real, he spits that realness, shit that I can understand an feel. But you wont catch him trying to act righteous an high an mighty. Homie might try to school the youth, but the mans a reformed criminal, aint nobody going to take him serious, an thats a sad fact. It's like, after you've shot people, an killed people, an sold drugs, an turned people into phenes, an fucked up countless lives, an than you buy mad ice an whips, an than you finally get caught, an than in your jail cell you reflect on your life, like wtf? Than after ALLL that, you finally feel bad. I mean cmon now. Thats how it hit Cormega. Compare his music nowadays to before he was locked. But like I said, I wouldn't defend Cormega on a personal level, cause homie done some fucked up shit, an I wouldnt want people to defend me cause I did fucked up shit too. But I would defend him as a fan, an say he makes good music, but is he a good person, or has any right to tell people how to live, after living like an animal himself? nah.

So in your opinion Rican your saying that because Nas has made songs about guns & drugs & glorifying violence and etc, he has no right to speak against it or to make music with a message contradicting anything he's said in previous "hood" songs? So basically, in order to be a "conscience" rapper you have to devote every song and verse to that? Growth is what changes people. Time changes people. Nas has every right to be preachy. Malcolm X was a peice of shit. A hustling, thieving peice of shit. Does that make him any less of the leader he was? no. People are multi-faceted Rican.

    BTW. it's Fiend, not Phene.

No but there is obviously a hidden motive behind his shit. You cant just spend your whole life tryna be a gangster an thug an talk about crimes yuve commited an than talk about the other side like "omg all that shit is wrong, but 6 months ago, I was making songs about killing people" the shit doesnt make sense. If Lupe Fiasco came on record people would take him serious, because for his whole career hes been about the anti-hood anti-drug anti-violence shit. No one wants to hear a hypocrit tell them how to fuckin live, that shit is annoying. An nobody thinks Malcom X is a peaceful man, most of his shit was about violence. Wtf are you talking about, he was an aggressive civil rights leader, he wasn't a peace maker until after he found religion, an still, does that excuse his past?
