Ive got a edited track in protools. It was stereo, but I deleted the right track.
Can I make it it stereo again? It still plays through both L and R, even though it says its just the L track.
Is this still a stereo track and the L on the track isnt signifigant? Or do I need to somehow convert it to stereo again (keeping the edits and changes ive made)
if the track was your vocals it wasn't supposed to be stereo to begin with.
But no... you can't magically convert a mono signal into a stereo signal. You can convert a mono track into a stereo track, but all that's going to do is play 2 of the same mono signals at the same time in the left and right channels. This is useless.
The only thing you can do is go into the audio file folder to see if the file is still there. Some programs delete the file when you delete the track and others don't.
yea if its vocals you should just be cool with the mono file, cuz that what its supposed to be.
