I meld the bridge between page and pen
a strained relationship of faded friends
on dried banks i wade within to find shade
from the fleeting sun glazed eyes of God watchers
passing judgment in the art galleries of distaste
scantily clad bodies of work i rape and take for granted
against the shallow shore, shackled to a ballpoint chain
i drink in the pain on the face of this mirror of my disgrace
mistaking my own frustration as fuel
to fan the flames of the pain in my artistry
under lock and key i pay attention to detail
to the muddy banks cluttered with reeds
as the breath blown from my yearning to learn
flutters the seeds and my frustrated tears
flow freely and are flooding the sea
as the pores between my eyelids pour divinity's freshwater
into the lead and ink currents of Satan's salinity
as the inner me screams deaf threats
at the waters that have been drained and dry
creative juices fail to fall, nothing remains
to tame the sky.

this was a pretty decent piece. nothing spectacular here cause i've honestly read wittier shit than this from you before. but you had a pretty good imagery and creativity though i thought you could of been stronger with ya word choices and ya vocab lacked a bit. the topic idea was meh for me on this one. you had a really good flow and rhyme scheme as well. nice drop esco
