If you already have, how much better is it than a DVD? I might have to cop a Blu-Ray player, even though they're raping for them. Then, my movie collection becomes obsolete.
It's like when DVD came out and my grandmothers hundreds of VHS' were practically useless. The family didn't want to go DVD but we eventually had to. We buried my grandmothers collection in a mass grave(Hitler style) and cried together. We didn't know what to do in this new world.

Blu-Ray is definitely a noticeably better picture on new movies. But this difference is most noticeable in an AB comparison.
There's no difference in movies that were released before bluray came out. it's the same movie. I wouldn't be in a rush to buy a Blu Ray player until they get extremely cheap. there's nothing wrong with DVDs. and your DVDs will play and look great in your blu ray player too so theres no worries about your old movies being obsolete.

and regular DVDs look better on BluRay players than they do on regular DVD players, because of the upconversion the player does.
