The Demon Fighter
I tried to stop it, but I can’t
Even though the crowd chants
I still know I can’t do it
I tore my self apart, bit by bit
Overworking myself till my last breath
Everyday going closer to death
I worked myself like this everyday
Knowing if I continued I wouldn’t stay
But I still went through
Ripping my soul in two
Until I was heartless
I threw blood on the walls like an artist
Because I knew that it was a fight to kill
It had nothing to do with skill
But you had to have determination
And no, this isn’t an exaggeration
Because what ever you had practiced vanished
It was all guts, the demons were never banished
That’s how I became what I am
I hit harder then a ram
I was faster then light
My hits were nowhere in sight
Because I was one with the demon
There wasn’t a match I didn’t win
Once you’ve won a fight
Your demon grows in height
Soon it overpowers you
Making you listen to
All its orders
Until it breaks all the borders
That’s what you get
When you forget
Yourself in messed
So pray that you’re blessed
With a good soul
Instead of a big black hole
