Not Quite Enough
Written by; Bipolar And LedgenZ
these eyes pray
religiously her
beauty has become
a synagogue.
the very breath
she breathes, god's
two-lung monologue.
what would make
an angel deny wings?
what would make
an angel be bound
by such earthly things?
what will make her sing?
I’ve noted the perfect
pitch of her in passing.
but she has no hits and
it's a wonder.
someone has convinced
brilliance it is crazy.
but, how else can a
miracle be defined?
in sane, out of mind.
your loose dangling
demons do not threaten
me, I’ve been divinity's
puppet for as long as
my cells remember.
and my cells re-
member!
so much of, not quite
enough. that is the
sincerity of her love.
humility has caught
me staring. vision begs
to be turned on. lead
me gently into all you
don't see, have I got a
sight for you.
she wants to leave me
for death. I am so damn
jealous of anyone offering
to bring rest, so I show
her how he sleeps with
everyone else. we sit
in cemeteries of silence,
I point out what he
keeps private. there
are many who visit
with tears. there are many
who haven't had visitors
in years. I know she digs,
company, though often
graved in crowds of lonely.
I am only, in her audience
tonight. shine those stars
bright. remove the lid
of your head-box contents,
we'll sort out the universe.
we'll give splendor a
worthy name. I think
yours works.
so much of, not quite
enough. you are
infinity's love.
Goddess or angel,
golden threads of hair.
Inside a shining heart-
is she scared?
To live eternally,
with infinity.
Your loved ones
will be resting in peace.
Living a perfect world
is it worth these words
when 'living forever',
brings worthless hurt.
Seeing your seed being born,
growing up and dying;
you're torn;
Because you accepted the scorn.
Now you're warned,
use your head,
everybody is for sure to be dead...
in the end,
forever is much too long-
especially when everyone is gone.
You're right but wrong,
only since,
you didn't think through this-
using common sense.
Everyone that has ever loved,
everyone that has a lost love.
Has wanted what you desire,
but it'll burn within you like a wildfire.
I know I don't exceed expectations,
but I can let you breathe-
with short yet sweet relations.
Your eyes read illustrations,
but misunderstand...
the way life was always meant to have an end,
because the afterlife is the best part,
my friend.
Would you like to toss that away-
again and again?
You're like a sea,
always beautiful;
no matter the date.
The way your curves
are just like the smoothest waves,
and eyes so blue like the oceans base.
It'd be a shame to let it all float to waste,
eternity would only bring you more heart break.
And think about the scars you may make.
You wouldn't die,
so suicide would only be failed attempts.
Happiness is what I forever promise,
heaven is something you'll want accomplished.
There are the flaws of death,
but nonetheless-
infinity is flawed by it's emotionless.
Either way, it's not quite enough-
she can't choose which she loves.
