Something i wrote a while ago, just thought i'd test the waters.
I've been spoiled, i've been homeless, i've been hungry, i've been priviledged, i've yearned, i've adapted.
I've had money to spare, goods to distribute
I've used nails and pebbles as a substitute for a bus fare
I've interpreted the Parables made avaliable to me while exposed to harm, poverty, isolation and injury...in the most claustrophobic corners ..
I've lived in and have bore witness to the pits of hell
and I've basked in luxury, and sank my feet in sand and swam in waters some will die without experiencing....
I've stolen, i've lied, i've consumed poison, I've educated, i've cared for, i've nourished, i've civilized.
I am constantly in the midst of snakes
and I have managed to keep my inner circle tight knit
God is a traveling man. Manhood is not easy, so bare with me.
I have been there, done that...and yet I've been nowhere, and have accomplished nothing.
The majority of my day is spent amongst 85ers, and I deal with my reality accordingly.
God is a wanderer. That land? that land is mynes. Yes. All of it.
So when you see me in the hood
when you see me in the burbs
building, destroying
in the deserts, in the woods
greet me with Peace
So when you see me in the hood
when you see me in the burbs
building, destroying...
Just know one thing-... that is where I'm at
It is not where I'm from.
