I'm used to editing with cool edit pro, but I no longer like it, so I got Magix and Cubase. What are some good vocal editing tips to get some good sound with each program.

Vocals. I need to know how to make them clear and sound good.
you'll wanna learn how to use equalizers... you don't really wanna boost any frequencies, more just to cut frequencies that are too high...
you'll also wanna read up on compression, and learn to use it... it helps to even out the levels of your vocals, so the quieter parts are brought up and the louder parts are brought down a little... so it's all nice and uniform...
those two things are very important, once you have them figured out some you can start usin' other tricks to bring your vocals to life... there are lots of good tutorials on here, youtube, and KVRAudio...
