Perhaps I should drown you
so you'd realize water is dangerous!
the sharp reefs
are there for a reason.

To keep you out!

Quit trying to decipher.

My poem is a poem,
take it face value.
there is NOT a secret message.

I'm dying here.

Dumb is hinged to your foundation,
that's obvious to me.
Because who wants to,
jump without a parachute?
Floating casually through the wind
as clouds rush by, your hair standing up
like your favorite Dragon Ball Z character.

It's only a poem!
It's not literal,
this one at least.

but,

i got a secret.

death wish:
stars are
feeling
suicidal
tonight.

i am dying here
amidst you,
my number one
fan.

are you still moved
by my words?

awww, come on
don’t be that way,
you needed me
to go to hell,
to bring it back,
so that you would
not pick it for your
next vacation spot.

it’s HOT!

that’s all i can tell you.

perhaps, if you’d
visited it for yourself,
you’d be impressed,
if only for,
having made it home.
you knew that i
drank and smoked,
did you ever,
one time, tell me
not to go?

was i mad? no!

poet’s don’t have feelings,
lover’s of poetry, made
us this way…

i gave my life for you,
and all i ask is, please,
share what i had to
say.

Honestly, this poem didn't not strike me as amazing, but i did like it enough to continue reading it and i do not regret it. You got a good point across with this poem. I like how the tone somewhat changes in the middle of the poem.
