yeah but an IP address can get allocated to more than 1 person at different times. Normally the first 6 digits are set for the ISP, but the last 6 can be allocated to anyone at the ISP. So if I'm on the same ISP as Spit for example, one day I might get the same IP that he had yesterday. Yeah, not likely, but since in the last 6 digits there are only 256*256 = 65,536 combinations, that's not so many to go around.
the IP search function tells you if the IP you searched is a proxy IP, plus you can tell if multiple names match one IP...if you give it a try you'll see what I'm saying about how it works....it's not like you search one name and get one IP...normally you get several IPs, and you can choose each one
