okay....................
so this week was very interesting in the 1-2 league.
alot of blowouts, yet some very close battles.
but something i am really going to focus on in this magazine,
is the amount of no shows the league is currently seeing.
this weeks mag should be one to enjoy ,
and hopefully get some things cleared up that will help the league run smoother.


this week we saw

13 no shows...included were:
4 double no shows
4 people no showing for the second time in a row

i am going to adress this and hopefully youll read and get something out of it.

both these guys are pretty well known around RB but expressed at the beginning of there battle they needed to get back on there game,
unfortunately i dont think this battle quite satisfied either one.....midise says he keyed his very quickly and i believe nyce is contemplating signing out.
currently this is one of the many lopsided battle we have this weak.

this was another lopsided battle, ramcees tried to come with a somewhat decent concept but in the en worded it bad and stretched it too long.

i was surprised with this one, i thought when i read the punches this was gonna be closer then it turned out.
but wow. these 2 are some of the best in the league and i think despite the vote count they both showed what they are capable of.
starscreams punch was fresh as hell. and mariah's punch was alot alot nicer then 85% of the punches displayed this week

the bigger picture:

just from looking at this no show report that is over 10 free wins handed out because of no shows. that does not define skill at all. With playoffs coming up in another half of the season, the thing that is worrying to me is that the way this is going it could easily be someone whose faced alot of no show opponents getting in ahead of a more skilled competitor. just keep this in mind. we want this to be league that prides itself on competition aswell as have it to continue running smoothly, im sure receiving a no show win to most..... if not all is alot of the time a disappointment.

so i have mixed feelings this week. i think its becoming eveident the level of effort that some people are or are not putting into thier posts.
