Bout the censorin lark I think its the BBFC that does is (BBFC stands for British Board of Film Classification). They generally only censor stuff thats proper fucked up, like Manhunt 2. I'm not sure about this but I think that the government doesn't censor things like the news as much in the UK as they do in America. All adult stuff (violence etc.) is on after 6, except porn, which comes on after 9. And yeh, most foreign media is from the yanks.

And btw for your questions you need to split up the UK for some sections... Scotland doesnt have the same government as England and Wales... same with N Ireland. We get different tv on 3/5 main channels...
