The People's Politics [By: Twixn... & Nash]

    The People's Politics
    By: Twixn... & Nash

    Hatched from the brave
but not the home of the free
    don't know about you
    but me... I consider free
an ability - of decision making
    led sounds so tasty... because
    assassination's the key
    and as a leader
    even that's plain to see
like the murder on the streets
    the deceit we breath no...
    we bleed through each pore
    infecting more than city streets
but the very heart that beats
    intends to recieve payment
so we rave and... riot the streets
    burning down the already burned
defying the beat we walked to
    and rebelling against our feet
    to shudder up unkowningly
    and snuff out the light
till we walk in darkended unison
we are here the children of the korn
born and sworn to live out a lie
we feed off the television screen
    and scream away our fears
till deaf ears befall an end...
fitting only to the flat lined grey cities.

the word placement in this made the rythm off-tempo, and made the read too fast to actually enjoy it. That is my only major complaint with this read. I like the direction you took with the title. The beginning of this piece was a cool, little, abstract phrase. <<<< My favorite part.

pretty dope poem.. very strong emotion for
such a short piece.. easy to read with a little
flow added to it.. kept me hooked instantly..

    the deceit we breath no...
    we bleed through each pore

but the very heart that beats
amazing.. only thing that pissed me off was
how short this is. when I got done I just
wanted to read more.. feel me?.. anyhow..
good job.. which part is Twixn and which
part is Nash? just curious.. peace..

we're not telling... this was actually done in MAYBE 10 minutes total in the Intricate Emotions cypher back and forth to each other... it sounded good all wrapped into one and I told him to write the ending and we posted it. so like it goes me then him then me then him for the ending... not gonna pick out each part cuz there's like 3 splits. shouldn't matter who wrote what though, it's a collaboration .

This was nice, lads. Opened well and was well worded throughout, both of the styles mesh well together - well enough to mask which segment was who's, lol. The imagery was decent, I would have liked for it to be a little longer, but it was a dope collab for one made up on the spot. Emotion was very strong too, it stood out to me the most. The poem closed nicely, good job.

Read this before but was too lazy for feedback.

The wordplay came really good, and seeing as you made a piece from Cypher ramblings. This was really creative in a cool way. The piece was original in all areas. The flow fluently flickered off of the tongue in a unedgy step of poetic sound. The imagery was beautiful, you both painted well with descriptions. And brought me as a reader into a whole new world. Keep writing gentlemen.

First off, who's who? Second of all, scratch the first question, did someone get edited out? If so, who? If not, then why can't I tell you two apart? Hell, I don't know. Anyway, this was a pretty decent piece, not nearly as good as the mass majority of the pieces I'm use to see from either of you. Now if this was in fact a cypher drop, then props, cause that's some pretty raw shit to be typing up right off the top of the dome. But still, just for the sake of constructive criticism, let me just say that this piece was okay. The flow was up and down, the content didn't really say anything outside of the ordinary, and the language used was that everyday run-of-mill sort of stuff the common town folk speak. Not bad, but not half as good as the pieces you two usually shit out on a bad day. *Shrugs* Maybe it's just me. Either way, you both know I'm not hating, I respect your work. But this one didn't do it for me.

Nice collab, And pretty random of how it was made too =p. I didnt like the refferance to the Children of the Korn though, That movie not only creeped me out but was pretty crappy too. Still...Good collab.
It started with a kiss and turned out something else,
The blood coils in through my veins, I think of no one else.
I never believed in much, but I believe in this.
I’m incomplete without you, I’d kill to taste your kiss

yeah it was off the dome...

all my written works are... well poetry ones anyway... not that i can always do it... i gotta be in the mood to write... and sometimes i'll pause... so i guess not really... but once i start going it all flows together well.

i would be good at freestyle spoken word i think.

acutally i have done it a few times when i just can't find rhymes and we are freestyling.

though my morbid shit seems to seek in sometimes... at parties... people are like hmmmm......... just like once sentence each time... and im like damn... lol only realise it after im finished just get caught in the flow... though i always edge it out with something funny after that and it goes well heh... anyway im rambling... thanks for the replies guys.

For a cypher this turned out well...

There were some moments when it was a little shaky but the content was quite nice, it actually had some intelligent insight and depth to it which would lead to believe you were actually into the topic which is great...ovarll it was a great drop due to the shortness of time done etc..overall nice little collab here to keep things alive

I liked the vibe of this piece more than any thing...second would be the rhythm of it....although the concept is kinda played.....
the delivery was nice and I feel that y'all tied to take a fresh angle on a used concept.......

if I had to rate it I'd give it a 6.6/10.

it coulda been alot more fresh and expressive in my opinion.
