Fuck Nuendo!

Fuck nuendo! I recording, was in the middle of mixing and everything, I got hungry, saved, put my comp back on hibernate. I come back turn it on, and now the project won't open. It says some shit about saving in this path, bla bla bla. So fucking random, Nuendo 3 has always been buggy, im pissed.

Anyways, anyone else got any other suggestion for other programs. Nuendo is awesome if you're recording with shit equipment. I need a program that has something like the De Noiser in Nuendo. Mixing, editing, the rest, you know... there all pretty much similar in that. I just need a program that can really help my quality cuz I record with a 25 dollar mic and thats it.

and i've used Nuendo for years... no problems, the ocassional crash, but that happens literally once every 9 or 10 months...

suggestion...
NEVER leave a "resource hog" like nuendo open in hibernate mode... always save... then exit if your gonna be away an extended period.

Most DAWS dont like "idle" modes
my FLStudio used to not even respond coming out of hibernation mode in XP.

You not gonna find a program that can help your quality...you need a better mic. As far as a program to replace Nuendo, Cubase, Audition, Logic...theres a couple. Understandable you got problems wit Nuendo, but i dont c y. Its top of the line in comparison to the 3 I named.

the reason that might have happened as well is, you may have autosave on... and while you were gone, it may have saved your file in RAM... which is inaccesible once your out of Hibe mode...

there is a option in nuendo were you can create a backup file to go to when something goes wrong.

you should explore these options.

Kris, I did save, exited, then hibernated. I try to open it back up, and it won't open, it just says program not responding forever. Now it says that for any file. I dunno if it's cuz im running on Vista, but I don't think you can put the blame on all vista. Hopefully Cubase has a similar de noiser tool as Nuendo or else im screwed.

West, Nuendo does to help quality. Check out the De Noiser tool.

1 more thing. I'm getting Cubase 4.1.1.......... what excately is the difference between Nuendo and Cubase? The screenshots in google look very similar to Nuendo.

nuendo is for post production, cubase is based more in music production.

nuendo 3 is basically cubase sx 3 with a slightly better sound engine, and more features geared toward post production.

and Cubase 4 isnt cracked yet. (it is... but it's not 100% for sure cracked.)...

were are you DLing your Cubase 4.1 from? and is it a ISO file? I been looking for a ISO of it so i can test this new syncrosoft dongle emulator

Cain, I think it's more of a upgrade or some crap. Cuz I downloaded it, I thought it had 4.1 in there, it was almost 100 mb.... but it was some fix and it said some shit about upgrade. I'll pm you the link.
