ok so... 2 Pre amp troubles...

so the best output sound i have is my old preamp...

and i want it to be output since thats what i use all the time... yet when i plug in my new mixer it seems to conflict and i can't record anymore.. though i get the output sound.... when i unplug my old pre amp i can record... when i plug it in i can listen... but i want both to be in at the same time so i can listen with my old one... record with the mixer...

any ideas?

it seems to change my settings without me doing anything... though it says they arn't changed.

plug the mic into the preamp mic in... the output of the preamp plugs into the input of the mixer... the mixer output goes into the comp... turn on the preamp... turn up the gains etc... make sure the output of the mixer is set at 0... bang.

i just want to use my old pre-amp for output sound... so for my heaphones or wtv... i dont even want to use the pre-amp for recording.

i dont have the big plug for headphones basically and thats all my mixer has....
