cubase sx question

For some reason in cubase the vocals aren't being recorded...I can hear the vocals when someone is spitten through the mixer but in cubase its recording but no vocals are here it's just a blank file when I end...does anyone know the reason for this...thanks

you need to go into set up and set the in to your soundcard/mixer where ever the mic goes in...

are you arming the track before you record? if not you have to click the R on the track you want to record on. did you set up your vst connections in cubase? if not then press F4 and set them up.
